Sarsa - Upcoming Punjabi Movie of Gul panag

Sarsa is an upcoming Punjabi movie based on student politics in Punjab.

The film is being directed by Jatinder Mauhar, who has earlier directed Mikka starring 'Mitti' back in 2010. Gul Panag is playing the lead in the film and will portray the character of 'Beant Kaur'. The title of the movie, Sarsa, as it suggests, has been inspired by the river Sarsa. This metaphorical representation is the symbol of upheavals in Punjab. 

Sarsa is expected to release in September this year.
